Vietjet Reports Strong Growth in Q3/2025 –
Announces 20% Stock Dividend
(Vietjet, HoChiMinh City, October 30, 2025) - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HoSE: VJC) reported strong
business performance for Q3/2025 with 97% of its annual plan achieved,
maintaining the recovery and development momentum post-pandemic.
Impressive Revenue and
Profit Growth
In Q3/2025, Vietjet's air revenue reached VND 16.728 trillion (approx.
US$635.1 million), with a pre-tax profit of VND 393 billion (approx. US$14.9
million). Cumulatively, for the first nine months of the year, the company
reported total revenue of VND 52.329 trillion (approx. US$1.98 billion) and a
pre-tax profit of VND 1.987 trillion (approx. US$75.4 million) which increased
by 28% YoY.
Consolidated revenue for the first nine months totaled VND 52.769
trillion (approx. US$2 billion), with a profit of VND 2.051 trillion (approx.
US$77.89 million), up by 17% YoY.
Ancillary revenue amounted to VND 6.893 trillion (approx. US$261.8
million), accounting for 41% of total air revenue and reflecting a 19% YoY
growth.
Vietjet paid over VND 7.342 trillion (approx. US$278.86 million) in
direct and indirect taxes and fees during the first nine months of 2025.
Expanded International Network with High Efficiency
As of 30 September 2025, Vietjet operated 219 routes (169 international
and 50 domestic), transporting 21.5 million passengers with a fleet of 98
aircraft. The seat utilization rate stood at 86%, and technical reliability
reached 99.72%, placing Vietjet among the highest in the region.
20% Dividend Reflecting Strong Financial Foundation
The Vietjet Board of Directors has approved a 20% stock dividend plan,
in which the airline is to issue more than 118.3 million shares, with a total
nominal value exceeding VND 1.183 trillion (approx. US$44.93 million).
This decision was made based on impressive business results and a
robust financial position, ensuring long-term benefits for shareholders.
Strong Foundation – Eyeing a Green Future
Vietjet is investing in its Aircraft Maintenance Center in Long Thanh
airport, developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and expanding high-quality
workforce training at the Vietjet Aviation Academy.
The airline has been recognized with the 2025 Sustainability Award from
AirlineRatings; named one of Asia's Best Workplaces; and listed in Forbes' Top
50 Best Public Companies in Vietnam, affirming its international stature in the
aviation sector.
With a
positive market trend, low fuel prices, and a solid technological and financial
foundation, Vietjet expects strong sustained growth in 2026.
