Vietjet joins hands to rebuild life post-disaster

(Vietjet, HoChiMinh City, Sept 16, 2024) - In the spirit of sharing with people in flooded areas, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company has contributed VND2 billion to the Vietnamese Heart Fund of Vietnam Television.

This amount will be coordinated with the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee to reconstruct houses for households severely damaged by storms and floods in Nu village (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district) and Nam Tong village (Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district).

Flash floods have swept away everything, razed houses, property and left deep wounds in people's hearts. To help people stabilize their lives soon, new houses will be built in the safer planning area. These houses will be the foundation for a new, secure and peaceful future. Additionally, supporting facilities such as community centers and clean water systems will be invested in to enhance post-disaster living conditions.

Vietjet's support goes beyond material aid, bringing hope and faith to help people swiftly overcome challenges and return to normalcy. This is part of Vietjet's humanitarian efforts, ranging from free relief flights to compassionate actions by its staff and employees.
