Vietjet operates more flights to transport medical staffs
(Vietjet, HCM city, 22/8/2021) - Vietjet has delivered thousands more medical staffs from the north to southern areas to help fight the pandemic over the weekend.
On
August 20, Vietjet has organized 3 flights to transport doctors and medical
officers of the Central Maternity Hospital and medical students of the Nam Dinh
University from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. The airline continued to bring
nearly 2000 medical staffs from Nam Dinh Hospital, Hanoi Medical University,
Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital and Military Medical
University to the south over the next two days.
In
addition, approximately 2.5 tons and relief goods were also delivered to these
areas.
During
this fourth wave of the pandemic, Vietjet has transported thousands of medical
staffs and students to provinces nationwide, as well as millions of vaccine
doses and hundreds of tons of medical equipments, vaccine storage and handling
toolkits to help speed up the vaccination process and assist the fight against
the virus.
Another
200 modern ventilators from Germany along with medical masks, protective
medical clothing, nylon and medical and laboratory equipment have landed in
Vietnam safely and free of charge. These were donated by German cities and
Vietnamese individuals and organizations in European countries to help Vietnam
in the battle against the pandemic.

Vietjet managing director Mr Dinh Viet Phuong.
