Vietjet transports free medicine for post-disaster disease treatment
(Vietjet, HoChiMinh City, Sept 14, 2024) - Vietjet, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Institute of Traditional Medicine, transported 20 tons of essential goods, including family medicine kits, from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. This activity aims to aid people in Northern provinces severely affected by storms and floods.
These items are crucial for preventing and treating common
post-disaster illnesses such as diarrhea, respiratory infections, and dengue
fever.
Since the inception of the free relief aid transportation
program, Vietjet has supported the delivery of nearly 90 tons of essential
goods to affected regions.
Additionally, the airline has proactively purchased and
provided various essential items to residents in communes of Ham Yen district,
Tuyen Quang province, contributing to the nation's resilience during this
challenging period.
