Madame Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is the founder of Vietjet and a prominent business leader in Vietnam and internationally, with extensive influence in the fields of finance and banking, investment, and aviation. She holds a PhD in Economic Cybernetics from the Mendeleev Institute, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Credit from the Moscow Institute of Commerce, and a Bachelor’s degree in Labor Economics Management from the Moscow State University of Economics. She is also an Associate Academician of the Russian Academy of Systems Research.
Madame Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is the first Vietnamese female entrepreneur to be conferred the Legion of Honour by the Government of France. In December 2025, at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, she was awarded the title of “Labor Hero” by the President of Vietnam for her outstanding achievements, innovation, and pioneering contributions to international integration.

Mr. Dinh Viet Phuong has many years of experience in management and executive leadership at major corporations and enterprises in the investment, transportation, and industrial sectors. He held positions including Head of Sovico’s Representative Office in Vietnam, Vice President of Sovico, Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Automobile Industry Corporation (Ministry of Transport), and Member of the Board of Directors of Petechim – Petrovietnam.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Vietnam Maritime University, a Master of Business Administration from the Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG, France), and a PhD in Maritime Transport Engineering from Moscow State Academy.

Mr. Philipp Rösler is a German of Vietnamese descent and has held many important positions in the German government, including: Minister of Health, Minister of Economics and Technology, and Deputy Prime Minister from 2011 to 2013. He is the first person of Asian descent to hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister in German history.
He was the Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland. With a passion for aviation, Mr. Philipp Rösler holds a private pilot’s license and is currently an advisor to a leading global aircraft maintenance group based in Switzerland.

Madame Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong has over 30 years of experience in financial management, investment, and executive leadership at leading corporations in the energy, telecommunications, building materials, and aviation sectors.
Prior to joining Vietjet, she held positions including Head of Finance (CFO) of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PV Drilling, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PVD Deepwater, CFO of SK-Sfone, CFO of SYM–VMEP, and Financial Controller of Holcim Vietnam.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Finance and Accounting from Swinburne University (Australia) and a Bachelor’s degree in External Economics from the Foreign Trade University. In 2014, she was selected to participate in the Global Linkage – Top Senior 20 CEO Conversations @ Harvard. In 2023, she was recognized among the Top 10 CFOs globally by CEO Insights.

Mr. Khuat Viet Hung is a senior expert in transportation planning, transport engineering, and sustainable infrastructure development. He has many years of experience in public sector management, policy making, and the implementation of major projects in urban transport, logistics, and traffic safety.
Prior to joining Vietjet, he held positions including Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Director General of the Transport Department, and President of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development.
He holds a PhD in Transport Planning and Engineering from Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT, Thailand), and a Bachelor’s degree in Transport Economics from the University of Transport and Communications.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan has many years of extensive experience in finance, insurance, and oil and gas services. He previously held the position of Chairman of PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI), a member of Petrovietnam. He is currently Vice Chairman of HDI Insurance Company under Sovico Group.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, a Master’s degree in Economics from the Colorado School of Economics (USA), and holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Hawaii and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

As one of the founding members of Vietjet, Madame Nguyen Thanh Ha is an experienced professional in the management and development of Vietnam’s aviation industry.
Prior to joining Vietjet, she held the position of Deputy Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Head of the Planning and Investment Department of Vietnam Airlines Corporation.
Madame Nguyen Thanh Ha holds a Master’s degree in Economics, a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Hanoi University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National Economics University.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son has over 25 years of experience in airline commercial operations at both domestic and international airlines. He leads flight product development, distribution systems, marketing activities, and revenue growth strategy at Vietjet.
In April 2026, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
