Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Member of the BOD, Vietjet Chief Executive Officer, and Vietjet Group Global Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son has over 25 years of experience in airline commercial operations at both domestic and international airlines. He leads flight product development, distribution systems, marketing activities, and revenue growth strategy at Vietjet. In April 2026, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong - Vice President cum Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Madame Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong has over 30 years of experience in financial management, investment, and executive leadership at leading corporations in the energy, telecommunications, building materials, and aviation sectors.
Prior to joining Vietjet, she held positions including Head of Finance (CFO) of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PV Drilling, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PVD Deepwater, CFO of SK-Sfone, CFO of SYM–VMEP, and Financial Controller of Holcim Vietnam.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Finance and Accounting from Swinburne University (Australia) and a Bachelor’s degree in External Economics from the Foreign Trade University. In 2014, she was selected to participate in the Global Linkage – Top Senior 20 CEO Conversations @ Harvard. In 2023, she was recognized among the Top 10 CFOs globally by CEO Insights.
Mr. To Viet Thang - Standing Vice President in charge of Operations, Safety, Quality and Security (CAO)
With nearly 30 years of experience working in the aviation industry, Mr. To Viet Thang has held many important and leadership positions at leading airlines in Vietnam. Currently, he holds the role of Standing Vice President in charge of Operations, Safety, Quality and Security at Vietjet, leading safe operations, improving service quality and ensuring security, affirming the airline's position in the international market.
Mr. To Viet Thang has a Master's degree in Aircraft Engineering, graduated from the Technical University of the Czech Republic.
Mr. Michael Hickey - Group Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Mr. Michael Hickey held leadership positions at RyanAir for more than 30 years since the airline had only 6 aircraft until the number expanded to 400. RyanAir is now the largest airline in Europe.
He is an accomplished specialist with expertise in air engineering and flight operations. He has a MSc in air safety management at London University.
