Four big companies named after Viet are in Forbes’ top 40 most valuable brands of Vietnam 2018
(Ho Chi Minh City, August 23rd, 2018) – Forbes Magazine honoured the 40 most valuable brands of Vietnam in 2018, including the leading brands which named after Viet as Vinamilk, Viettel, Vingroup, Vietjet.
Companies being honoured by Forbes this year have the total brand’s value of more than USD8 billion, an increase of 50% over the list in 2017, thanks to the strong growth in stock market which help increase the average PE of almost industries. HDBank, Vinhomes, VNPT, Trung Nguyen… are some of the newly listed brands.
Brands’ value was measured by Forbes global method, based on public transparent financial data. According to Forbes, all the most valuable brands have large revenue in their industries.

Vietjet is one of the youngest brands. Since its first take-off in 2011, Vietjet brand has brought positive changes for the air transport market, reached outstanding growths in revenue, profit and carried passengers. In the first 6 months of 2018, Vietjet continued to lead the domestic passenger traffic and be the best operating flight growth airline with 59,944 flights, up nearly 22%.
