Vietjet and Vietnam Association for Protection of Children’s Rights cooperated to organize “Light up the dreams” 2018 program

This year’s “Lighting up the dreams” program is expected to hand over up to 1,000 scholarships and 3,000 gifts for children in extremely difficult circumstances in the harsh natural conditions, disaster, flooding areas of 6 cities/provinces including Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Binh Dinh and Binh Phuoc.

In August – September 2018, Vietjet will give presents directly to nearly 1,000 disadvantaged children who have a good results in education in Da Nang, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh and Binh Phuoc provinces. Children will participate in the program’s activities, exchanging, playing and receiving scholarships and practical gifts from Vietjet.

Every year, Vietjet regularly gives presents, scholarships and organizes special shows for disadvantaged children around the country, such as in S.O.S Village Nha Trang, Thi Nghe Orphanage for disabled children (Ho Chi Minh City), Social Protection Center of Ba Ria Vung Tau etc. accompanies with Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund for ethnic minority children, organizes “Spread of love” flights for poor students coming home for Tet, summer vacations… Specially, this summer, Vietjet and Youth Theatre have organized “Flying dreams” program with free performances for disadvantaged young people, offering opportunities to access the true art, spread the art loving for young people.

Since the first flight took off in 2011, Vietjet Air has not only offered opportunities to fly for tens of millions people but also paid specially attention to invest, care for the young generations, created conditions to help them developing in all aspects. These activities has become a part of our staff’s life and also being in the sustainable development plan which is built and implemented annually, contributing to human development, creating better and better civilized community.
