Vietjet and Vietnam Youth Union’s Central Committee, National Volunteer Centre kicked off “Let’s clean up the ocean 2018” program

At the ceremony, Vietjet and Vietnam Youth Union’s Central Committee handed over the mobile propaganda vehicles, clothes, tools, gifts to the core team of “Let’s clean up the ocean” in Phu Quoc Island; gave presents to students who are children of disadvantaged fishermen, have a good results in education in Phu Quoc Island… as well as participated in activities to clean the public waste polluted beaches and the living areas of fishermen. 

“Let’s clean up the ocean” program with “Reduce the pollution of domestic waste” theme will be deployed in 28 coastal cities, provinces across the country with many meaningful activities. Besides the kick-off ceremony, Vietjet will accompanied with practical activities series: “Let’s clean up the ocean” poster design and initiative contest; organizing social sercurity activities to encourage disadvantaged fishermen at coastal provinces to continue sailing, developing economy; establishing core youth volunteer teams to protect the ocean environment in coastal areas; minimizing the pollution of garbage in at least 50% of the identified areas where are contaminated with domestic waste…

With a wide flight network of 93 routes to domestic and international destinations, including the significant routes for sea tourism as Danang, Nha Trang, Quang Binh, Phu Quoc, Haiphong, Thanh Hoa etc..Vietjet always accompanies and contributes to the development of local and national tourism. 

Vietjet’s aircraft bearing “I love my Fatherland” symbol is a partnership with Vietnam Youth Union in launching program to call on youths nationwide to join well behave movement. Vietjet also pioneers in painting the symbol of Vietnamese Tourism in the aircraft, flying with Hello Vietnam song, a red flag with a gold star in the international sky which warmly welcomed by partners, friends in 5 continents. Vietjet continously opens more routes, increasingly transports domestic and international passengers. With the total number of transported passengers over 60 million, Vietjet continues to promote tourism, investment; supports social security programs; promotes images, culture, tourism of Vietnam at Vietjet’s international destinations; contributes to make Vietnam become the regional and international high quality tourism and services central, especially in sea tourism. Additionally, the Airline also improves the awareness of ocean environment protection for passengers in flights, at the airports and within its staffs…

Vietjet and Vietnam Youth Union’s Central Committee signed a five year cooperation agreement (2018 – 2023). Accordingly, two parties will jointly organize many meaningful and practical activities for the sake of community, especially social welfare activities and supporting programs, along with students, youth etc. Accompanied with the activities of “Young doctors follow the Uncle Ho’s words, volunteer for public health”, at the pioneering central festival, Vietjet sponsored 5,000 medicines, 20 gifts for policy beneficiaries and 10 water microbiology filters for kindergardens, primary schools. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the airline also organised one free flight “Spread the love” on the aircraft bearing “I love my Fatherland” symbol for young disadvantaged people, workers, students to come home for Tet…
