Vietjet is among top Vietnam’s most efficient listed companies
On the evening of June 09th 2017, at the biggest award ceremony of the year namely "Top 50 Best Vietnamese Companies 2016", hosted by the Investment Review Magazine, Vietjet was honored among the leading group of top 50 listed companies in Vietnam.

The results of this year's rankings depended on the performance of the business, with a proportion of 70% divided equally into the two criteria: the 3 years’ compound average revenue growth and the 3 years’ average return on equity (ROE). Meanwhile, the remaining 30% would be decided by the market through the stock return to investor.
Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Dang Huy Dong praised the best companies
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Dang Huy Dong said that the award ceremony had a significant meaning especially. Mr. Dong also congratulated and appreciated the values of the companies in the Top 50.
The ceremony also attracted many businessmen and many big companies all over the country because the conference conversation was interesting, humorous but brought many profound business lessons. Led by former FPT CEO Nguyen Thanh Nam, three special guests: Vietjet Managing Director Luu Duc Khanh, Chairman, General Director of MobileWorld Investment Joint Stock Company (MWG) Nguyen Duc Tai and representatives from Masan Mr. Pham Trung Lam.
Mr. Luu Duc Khanh shared many interesting stories about the mission and strategy of the new age airline
It was very interesting when "the host" Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam asked the guests if they compared their companies with a type of animal then which animal would best suit your compay characters ? All the guests were surprised by the question but considered it as the best question during the conference as all the mission and strategy of the company were clearly revealed in the answer.
Mr. Tai and Mr. Lan compared their companies with leopard and wild boar which were very sensitive and quickly responded to the market, meanwhile, Mr. Luu Duc khanh gave big surprise to all the guests when saying Vietjet made the image of dove to present Vietjet's visual identity.
According to Mr. Khanh, the dove was not only suitable for the aviation industry, which always fly high and far, but also the gentle nature of this type of animal accurately depicted the brand characteristics and strategy of Vietjet. "Vietjet is simply perorming the mission of realizing the flight dream of all Vietnamese people, making aircraft a popular and civilized means of transport," Mr. Khanh said.

The three guests did not forget to remind startup entrepreneurs that in order to achieve the achievements of the Top 50 companies, they initially had very small starting points. Previously, Vietjet was also honored in the list of the best 50 Vietnamese companies in the stock market in 2017 by Forbes Vietnam. Statistics showed that 50 companies in the list this year accounted for more than 60% of the market capitalization of HSX and HNX.
