The commendation was awarded by the representative of the Naval High Command in the program "Journey of Spring to the Forest and Sea 2023". The program was organized by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For Beloved Truong Sa, Hoang Sa" Club on the morning of December 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 as an initiative of Thieu nien Tien phong Newspaper. Over the course of more than 20 years, with the support of Vietjet and numerous philanthropists, the fund has awarded tens of thousands of scholarships to exemplary students who have demonstrated academic excellence, overcome difficulties, and shown outstanding character. Vietjet has contributed billions of Vietnamese dong to the fund through initiatives such as providing free flights, distributing thousands of gifts, and transporting thousands of ethnic minority students from coastal and island regions to reunite with their families during holidays and festivals.

"We are delighted to accompany the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and contribute to sharing and uplifting the future of students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies, especially those from ethnic minority and coastal areas," shared Mr. Do Xuan Quang, Vice President of Vietjet.

Besides to the activities with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Vietjet also accompanies various programs and activities focused on children in difficult circumstances at orphanages, shelters, and SOS Children's Villages nationwide. The enterprise brings students from the Hy Vong School back to their hometowns during the Tet holidays.
